 A gas tank lorry exploded outside a maternity and children’s hospital in Mexico City, killing a woman and two babies.

The explosion devastated the hospital and left it completely destroyed. It is believed to have been a gas leak from a gas lorry which was making a delivery that caused the explosion.

The rescue operation found several babies alive under the rubble and more than 50 people injured.
