Fiery diva and West African Idol runner-up, Omawumi graces the cover of the latest Genevieve magazine issue with her mother, Queen Aya Megbele.

It is the mother’s day special issue and the duo reveal how being mothers has brought them even closer. Other interesting features in keeping with the theme include the age old battle of Mother vs. Wife and mothers who are surviving against all odds.

We’re not completely sure about that background, but anything with Omawumi always gets us – and her mother looks gorgeous!
