How cruel!

A middle aged mother, Comfort Tifase  and her kids Olufumbi and Oluropo, have been arrested by officers of the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, Lagos, for the gruesome murder of their husband and father, Moses.

The culprits had allegedly killed Moses with a pair of scissors on the 6th of December, during a fight at their Block 285, flat 6, residence, Jakande Estate Mile 2, Lagos.

They were however caught while attempting to quickly bury him.

According to the Vanguard, they had contacted a member of their church with the news of their father’s death and demanded his immediate burial, claiming he slumped and died.

The church member suspected foul play and alerted the police in Festac Police Station, where Divisional Police Officer, Ifeanyi Owo, who led policemen to the scene, arrested the suspects and her children while the corpse was taken to the mortuary for autopsy.

The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ken Nwosu, confirmed the incident saying the suspects denied killing the man, but the policemen who visited the scene recovered a blood-stained pair of scissors in their apartment, while the entire apartment was in disarray.
