Opinion: How fans on Twitter will react to Arsenal’s loss (or win) against Napoli tonight

by Segun Ake

Arsenal Fans

Arsenal will play Napoli today away at Naples in the UEFA Champions League, while Borussia Dortmund will play Marseille in the last matches of the group of death.

With three teams standing a chance to go through, Dortmund’s fate is in their own hands as they face a Marseille side that have not won one single game in the group.

Arsenal only need a draw or make sure they do not lose with a 3-goal margin against Napoli, the gunners are currently flying high this season but their next set of matches could determine where their season is headed.

They will play Napoli tonight, in-form Manchester City this weekend and their London rival, Chelsea next weekend.

We all know how fickle Arsenal fans could be when it comes to their beloved team, So let’s play a ‘prophet’ here by predicting the future…

If Arsenal qualify for the next stage of the Champions League:

Mesut Ozil will take to Twitter to tweet: ‘Another great game, 3-points in the bag, straight into the knock-out of the Champions League. Bring on Man City’

Piers Morgan on Twitter: Giroud is the best striker, great game… Arsene Wenger I apologize for doubting you at the begining of the season. Ozil is d greatest’

All Arsenal fans retweet Piers Morgan and Ozil.

Aaron Ramsey posts Instagram picture of the players celebrating in the team bus or dressing room.

Arsenal fans all over the world will be excited and brag about being the winner of this year’s English Premier League and Champions League already.

Oh well, now what if they get knocked out?

PiersMorgan on Twitter: ‘We need a striker, Giroud is clumsy. We lack believe, We must sign in January. Wenger should take responsibility’

Arsenal fans retweet and insult Peirs Mogan for the tweet, he picks up one fan and starts a tweetfight.

Mesut Ozil, ermmm he won’t tweet.

Jack Wilshere tweets apologize for disappointing the fans on behalf of his team mates…

Jamie Carragher, Gary Neville and other English pundits will start a rant about how Arsenal are not good enough to win a trophy this season.

Arsenal fans melt-down, other football fans mock them and remind them how they have been trophyless in 8 years.

Arsenal fans go defensive and remind all fans they are 5-points clear at the summit of the English Premier League, but most of them will give up on winning any trophy this season.

So, there you have it… it’s all fun, something to laugh about.

Either Arsenal qualify or not, it promises to be another great night of football and opinions on social media.
