How I escaped an accident on my way to Ayo Oritsejafor’s anniversary – Pastor Paul Adefarasin

by Isi Esene

The senior pastor of House on the Rock church, Paul Adefarasin, yesterday shared a testimony with his church congregation on how he escaped getting involved in an accident on Saturday.

The pastor said he was on his way to the airport to catch a flight to Warri, Delta State to be part of the birthday/40th Anniversary celebration of the president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Pastor Ayo Oristejafor.

According to Adefarasin, God spoke to him and asked him not to use his Range Rover, which he usually prefers to drive for long distances.

Unknown to him, the bolts of a tyre on the left side of the sports utility vehicle had almost come off. An automobile engineer was called in and he loosened about three bolts with his hands, without the help of a screwdriver.

“If we had gone with that car, I would have been a statistic by now and the mood in this church today

wouldn’t be what it is. But because I am a man who honours God and honours people that are honourable, I am standing here today,” he said.

Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor’s celebration in Warri had in attendance, President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr. Mike Murdock, amongst other notable guests.
