Gracious losing – or winning – has never quite been his strongpoint.
Iyiola Omisore lost the recently concluded Osun election to Rauf Aregbesola, but he is yet to concede defeat and his spokesman says the PDP flag-bearer is consulting with the powers that be.
His mouthpiece, Diran Odeyemi, said: “Omisore is not a tin god. He is a committed party man and 24 hours is too short to engage in widespread consultation. Consultation is on with our men on the field, meetings are already on and as soon as all these are concluded, we would issue a formal statement on the development.”
