Akolade Arowolo, the man who was sentenced to death by hanging by the Justice Lateefat Okunnu Lagos High Court yesterday, broke down in tears weeping bitterly at the fate which has befallen him.

Arowolo who reportedly stabbed his late wife, Titilayo, seventy six times on June 24, 2011, fell to the ground muttering to himself.

“Jesus Christ! I cannot die in prison,” he repeated.
