“I have a crush on Beyonce, she’s amazing to me” – Justin Bieber reveals to Oprah (WATCH)

In a highly anticipated interview with Oprah that aired this Sunday, pop superstar Justin Bieber took a break from his “Believe” tour to sit down with the TV host and chat about his feelings for Selena Gomez, the challenges of fame and his biggest celeb crush.

Bieber’s interview with Oprah took place several weeks before the rumored Jelena split made headlines around the world, and the star spoke honestly about his feelings for the actress.

“I’m really about genuine people, and I feel that she’s one of the most genuine people,” he said. “She just has a really good heart. I can talk to her about anything.”

Although the two have reportedly called it quits, with several recent sightings of the young couple in Los Angeles, rumor now has it that Jelena may be getting back together.

The pop star talked about the difficulties of having a relationship in the spotlight, and also opened up about struggling with loneliness and depression.

“I get lonely sometimes, yeah,” he admitted to Oprah. “You just feel sometimes like you need someone to be there with you — that can be lonely.”

He also said that although he hasn’t struggled with serious depression, he does get the blues from time to time, confessing, “I get days where I’m just down and gloomy, just because I’m human. Some days you just feel what you’ve gone through…”

The Biebs also told Oprah that he feels a lot of pressure being at such a crucial juncture in his career, as he attempts to make the transition from teen idol to adult stardom.

“I think this is the time where people are going to be like, ‘OK, he has it,’ or ‘OK, he doesn’t.’ I just want people to see me and not just hate on me because other people hate on me,” the pop star said.

And to lighten the tone, for her special segment “Oprah’s Favorite Things,” Bieber gave Oprah the lowdown on all the things he loves.

Bieber shared his celeb crush (“Beyonce — she’s amazing to me”), the movie he’s seen a thousand times (“Rocky”), his favorite meal (spaghetti and meatballs), but he wouldn’t share the tweet he most regrets. He also opened up about the artist he’d most like to model his career after.

“I see myself looking up to his [Michael Jackson’s] career, how hard he worked as an entertainer, but also I want to be remembered for being myself,” Bieber told Oprah. “Someone seeing a dance move and saying oh yeah, that’s Justin Bieber. With his videos, with his performances, you felt his emotion.”
