Northwestern University Professor and Nobel Prize winner, Fraser Stoddart took a jibe at US Presidential candidate, Donald Trump for saying he was “very smart” for avoiding tax.
Hillary Clinton had suggested that Trump has not paid tax during the first US Presidential debate.
Trump had replied, “That makes me smart.”
Stoddart is expected to share the prize money, $933,000 with Jean-Pierre Sauvage of France and Bernard Feringa of the Netherlands.
Stoddart had said during a press conference, “I am not very smart. The IRS (Internal Revenue Service) will run off with a third of it.
“Did you all get that? I’m not very smart,” Stoddart added.
