“I puked when I saw it…”: SEE Twitter reactions to Fayose’s Punch ad (TWEETS)

by Chinwe Okafor

Social media has been in a state of disarray since people woke up to their daily ritual of acquiring a daily tabloid one of which is Punch Newspaper, especially in this election times.

But today’s own was particularly interesting.

Punch Newspaper ran an advert sponsored by Ayo Fayose on its front covers and Nigerians were not only shocked but weren’t happy about it as well.

The Governor of Ekiti State, who did so in a Jonathan reelection bid, had content such as, ”Nigerians be warned. Between Life and Death, choose life” with pictures of late past leaders such as General Sani Abacha, Musa Yar’Adua, etc and then General Muhammed Buhari with a question mark on his face.

The advert simply denotes that it is assumed that GMB will die in office like the others depicted in the advert particularly because of his age and purported ailment.

More so, the advert is extremely sensitive as the past leaders mentioned are all northerners.

What message is Gov. Fayose really sending?
