I wasn’t surprised Jonathan sacked me – Bolaji Abdullahi

Ex-Sports Minister, Bolaji Abdullahi today in Kwara State said he was not surprised over his removal from President Goodluck Jonathan’s cabinet.

Mallam Abdullahi said he was mindful of the fact that as a public official his stint in government would someday come to an end.

The former minister who was treated to a rousing reception in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital used the opportunity to thank the former Governor of Kwara State, Dr. Bukola Saraki who currently is Chairman, Senate Committee on Ecology and Environment, the current Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed and the state House of Assembly Speaker, Razak Atunwa as well as the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim  Sulu-Gambari for their perceived great contributions to the development of the state.

Abdullahi was sacked from the Jonathan government penultimate Tuesday after his visit and that of other leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to Ilorin.
