Ighalo facing 2-year jail over alleged bribery scandal

An alleged bribery scandal in which Super Eagles player, Odion Ighalo has been fingered in may see the Nigerian striker serve a two-year jail term.
Ighalo, alongside some others have been accused of bribing their way to pass a driving test while he was at Granada in the Spanish league.
According to provincial district attorney’s office, Ighalo and the other accused persons hired someone to write the tests on their behalf in 2012 and 2013.
Investigation further revealed that three syndicates of Íllora (Granada), Mengíbar (Jaén) and Ciudad Real who moved to Granada allegedly recruited students to help write exams for clients who wanted to pass the driving license exams, and were charged between 1,500 and 2,500 Euros.
