Ekweremadu’s forgery investigation to be made public

The Nigeria Police Force has revealed that they have concluded the investigations into the alleged forgery of Senate rules by the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, and some principal officers and management of the National Assembly.

The Police said on Wednesday that all the persons involved in the controversy had been interrogated and the findings would be made public next week.

This was disclosed by the Police spokesperson, Emmanuel Ojukwu, who told Punch Newspapers that “the police had done the needful.”

He was quoted to have said: “We have talked to all the people involved in the case and by next week, the findings would be made public.

“The outcome of investigation and legal advice will determine who to be prosecuted.”
