Allen John Geozos

 A Florida man who was denied a marriage license threatened to blow the entire courthouse down, according to police reports.

The man, who is 52-years-old, was arrested Monday after he threatened to blow the Orange County Courthouse, an arrest report shows.

Allen John Geozos and his girlfriend were trying to get a marriage license at 10:20 am, records show.
He presented a veteran’s ID and a photocopy of his driver’s license, but the clerk said he needed the original driver’s license or a U.S. passport.

According to the arrest report, Geozos shouted to the clerk that he did not have his license and could not get a new one. “When you live in the forest for so many years, you tend to lose your wallet,” he said, according to the secretary.

The arrest report lists a home address for Geozos, but records show that he was listed as a transient from a previous arrest. When the receptionist asked Geozos if he wanted to speak to a supervisor, Geozos began making threats, deputies say.

“No, I’ll be back,” he said, according to arrest paperwork. “I’ll blow this place down.” The Secretary immediately notified a supervisor, who alerted a deputy in the courthouse.

According to the arrest report, both the employee and the supervisor said they feared for their safety.
Geozos’ fiance told deputies that Geozos commented under his breath and did not mean what he said, the report said.

Geozos was arrested on a charge of second-degree felony of making a bomb threat. He remained in the Orange County Jail on Tuesday with bail set at $5,000.
