Illegal aviation school with 150 students shut down in Kwara

An illegal aviation school was today shut down by the Kwara State government.

The school which is located near Giri Alimi Roundabout in Ilorin, the state capital, offered unsuspecting students Bachelor of Science and Education degrees.

The school, HIK School of Aviation is located a few kilometers from the International School of Aviation and had about 150 students enrolled.

The Commissioner of Education and Human Capital Development, Saka Onimago, told journalists tha the school was not accredited by the Nigerian Universities Commission and therefore operating illegally.
