Your Internet newspaper for young Nigerians, YNaija, has been offline for 48 hours now, and we owe you, our raving fans, an apology.
Over the last few weeks we had noticed increasing downtime on our servers – it turned out our hosting service could no longer cope with the increasing traffic demands. This necessitated an urgent need to change service providers, and a decision was made to do that last weekend(30-31 August).
Unfortunately, the move has taken a bit longer than expected. Our IT whiz kids however assure us that all is going fairly smoothly, and your normal service will soon be resumed.
We once again, apologise for this break in transmission – but we are excited that you have been connecting on-the-second via our social media outlets!
