The Nigeria police has released photos of the car loaded with explosives discovered in Kano.

The bomb which was found in a battered grey Mitsubishi car at about 9am today at Tafawa Balewa Street, Nasarawa local government area of the state Kano was apparently meant to cause extensive damage similar to the ones in Nyanya, Abuja and the latest one at a drinking joint in Sabon Gari, Kano.

Experts in the bomb disposal unit of the police force have since defused the bomb and certified the vehicle safe.
