The Palacio de Sal hotel in Bolivia is entirely made from one million 35cm blocks of salt over a two-year period and sits on the world’s largest salt flat – the Salar de Uyuni.
Even the beds and seats were carved out of the salt blocks which makes it a sight for anyone to see.
The Bolivian resort has 16 rooms, a dinning room and a bar – to quench thirst when the salty environment leaves you thirsty.
One condition that may get customers thrown out is if they are caught licking the blocks of salt.
