Project90 is a couture project that challenges Nigerian budding style creative enterprises in 90 minutes. The key goal of the project is to provide a platform that showcases the intricacies behind the seemingly simple notion of fashion. This would feature a combined effort of fashion designing, tailoring, make-up artistry and modeling to come together flawlessly on the runway or stage as the case may be and even beyond.
Taking off in Lagos, Project 90 will make its debut event – ‘The Fashion Meet-Up 1.0’ featuring fashion artisans from its environ to give them an opportunity to have a feel of what it is like to be in the limelight, of what it means to be in the business of fashion in all its essence. This means creations will be assessed and critiqued, artists’ decisions / choices will be questioned by seasoned designers, style bloggers and fashion enthusiasts. A panel of renowned judges will keep participant on their toes as they rise up to the challenge of creating perfection in a set time. Favorites may be bought on the spot. All these will happen under the flickers of the camera which will make its way to blogs, websites and TV thanks to our media partners.
Hosted by Taylor Loran and Skinart Fashion House, ‘The Fashion Meet-up 1.0’ which takes place on the 8th of October 2016, will task participants to produce a finished iconic look in 90 minutes. Also an avenue for networking, Project 90 bridges the gap between the different creative arms for a complete fashion statement.
