It gets worse: Boko Haram abducts 200 schoolgirls in Borno

About 200 girls have been reported to be abducted in an attack on a  school in Borno state, Nigeria.

According to some parents, gunmen arrived at the school located in Chibok, Borno state, late last night, marched the teenage girls in the hostel on to four lorries.

Speaking to the BBC Hausa service, the parents said that at least 200 girls had been abducted and from indications the attackers were from the terrorist group, Boko Haram.

A student who did not wish to be named, told the BBC that she had escaped after seeing her classmates jump out of the back of a lorry.

The abduction comes just after a bombing in Nyanya bus park in Abuja which killed scores of people on Monday.
