“It should be a God-given right!” – Nicki Minaj is furious over Yvette Wilson’s death

by Adeniyi Abdul

Nicki Minaj is not satisfied with America’s healthcare system; and she sure as hell isn’t afraid to say it. The rapper (or is she a singer these days?) known for her colourful wigs and outfits was reacting to the news of the death of TV star Yvette Wilson (The Parkers/Moesha) who lost a battle with cervical cancer last week, after her family was unable to raise enough funds for her treatment.

The musician took to Twitter to air her frustrations, tweeting President Obama and demanding free healthcare for all. Quite the revolutionary, that Nicki.

@NICKIMINAJ: Whats sad is that when Yvette was bringing home the bacon, the gov’t was probably taking millions. On her death bed tho, #Nowheretobefound.

@NICKIMINAJ: And had to raise $ for her MEDS!!! —> RT@sponfulofsass Oh no Yvette Wilson passed away from cancer tonight. God Bless her. ((

@NICKIMINAJ: RT @Nickk_maraj The fact that money had to be raised for her medical expenses when she obviously couldn’t prevent this

@NICKIMINAJ: That should be a God given right! Even with Obama Care, too much involved. Just give FREE health care to all. @barackobama What can we do?

@NICKIMINAJ: @BarackObama I wouldn’t mind the millions they took if it was going to healthcare. Why should a poor person struggle to pay for MEDS sir

@NICKIMINAJ: @BarackObama I just don’t understand why people have to worry about their “medical bills” while they’re on their DEATH BEDS Mr. President

Sad.
