The Senate on Thursday extended the validity of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) result to three years.
The extension now ensures that JAMB results which used to last for a year will now be valid for 3 years.
The chairman senate committee on tertiary education and the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), Jibrin Barau presented the committee report to the upper chamber.
Senate President, Bukola Saraki said the extension will reduce financial burden on parents and guardians.
