Cool DJ Jimmy Jatt and EME act Shaydee are part of the line-up of music artistes billed to perform at Lagos Countdown 2014 holding at the Eko Atlantic Bar Beach in Victoria Island Lagos on 31 December, New Year’s Eve.
The Lagos Countdown, in its third edition is an annual event pooled together by the Lagos State Government and designed to encourage tourism and boost the state economy. Tagged “Like Never Before” and hyped as the biggest cross over event, the night will include karaoke, DJ battle, dance competition, singing competition, dancing and much more.
“This is history in the making and an unforgettable memory that will remain in the hearts of people, an event no one should miss” said the excited hip hop star, Shaydee. “It is also a good time to perform alongside great people and a live band” he added.
The official DJ for the night will be Cool DJ Jimmy Jatt alongside 50 other artistes, ready to thrill the over 100,000 capacity crowd expected to attend the countdown.
“The action on stage will be electric, and will be such a good way to enter into the New Year” said Jimmy Jatt. The year has been full of ups and downs and this will be the perfect way to end it” he added.
Hosts for the Lagos Countdown 2014 are Gbenga Adeyinka, Fade Ogunro and Jimmy Akinsola. The event holds on December 31st and will feature fireworks as one of the highlights of the occasion.
