It is a solemn moment for singer, Davido and his family, as his father, Deji Adeleke, is reportedly getting a divorce from his wife, Teju Adeleke, in an Osun High Court.

So solemn that the presiding judge handling the case, Justice A. O. Oguntade, on Monday, barred journalists from covering the divorce proceedings involving billionaire businessman and his estranged wife.

The judge again on Thursday, asked journalists present in the courtroom to take their leave before the divorce proceedings could commence.

Oguntade was quoted to have said: “Journalists present in this court should go out. I repeat, journalists present in this court should go out now.”

Although journalists were chased out before the proceedings, it wasn’t before they were able to catch a glimpse of the Chancellor of Adeleke University and the fact that his estranged wife was not in court on both days of the proceedings.

Deji Adeleke’s first wife, Veronica Adeleke, passed away in 2003.
