The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has taken charge of the investigation into alleged corrupt practices by some judges.

Recall that operatives of the Department of State Service had raided the houses of some judges and claimed to have recovered some money.

According to a source, the President gave the directive that the EFCC should take over the investigations from the DSS.

The source said, “The commission has taken over the probe into the allegation of corruption against those judges whose residents were raided by operatives of the DSS.”

The anti-graft agency had invited four senior lawyers for allegedly bribing judges over top profile cases.
