The Akwa Ibom state Government House was on Tuesday besieged by over 100 militants.
According to Daily Trust the militants who protested violently demanded that they be included in the Amnesty Programme and that they must see Governor Udom Emmanuel at all cost.
Police have been trying to disperse them with tear gas and firearms.
