Nollywood actress, Ibinabo Fiberesima has been granted bail by the Lagos division of the Appeal Court.
According to The Sun, the court on Thursday, ordered the release of the embattled actress pending the outcome of her suit at the Supreme court.
The High Court sentencing of Fiberesima to five years imprisonment for manslaughter, was in March, upheld by the Court of Appeal.
Ten years ago, the ex-beauty queen was charged to the magistrate court on a two-count charge of dangerous and reckless driving along Epe Expressway, Lagos – which resulted in the death of Dr. Giwa Suraj.
The actress is currently challenging the ruling of the Appeal Court at the Supreme Court.
