There are reports of a fire incident near the Central Mosque at Alausa in Ikeja, Lagos.

Sources say men of the fire services are already at the location battling to put it out but the intensity is overwhelming.

Ibrahim Farinloye of the Nigerian Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) says the fire is intense but the fire service officials are fighting it. He, however, gave no word on the number of casualties if there are indeed any.
