The Police in Kaduna State on Saturday said it has arrested seven suspected armed robbers in the state.

According to the state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Aliyu Usman, the suspects were arrested at Unguwar Sarki and Narayi in Kaduna metropolis.

He said the police is still making efforts to arrest one of them who is still at large.

He said, “Four plasma television sets and three mobile phones were recovered from the suspects.

“The suspects confessed to have committed the crime. Investigation is still ongoing and they will be charged to court for prosecution.”

Usman urged residents to cooperate with security operatives in their fight against crime and criminality in the state.

He said, “We call on the public to  give the security operatives maximum cooperation in the fight against crime and criminality in the state.”
