Following his spat with Wiz Khalifa, US rapper, Kanye West said he wouldn’t mention anyone’s children again, while carrying out into his Twitter rants, but apparently, he lied… or better still, he can’t even remember tweeting that.
Bob Ezrin, a Canadian music producer and keyboardist, is the latest recipient of Kanye West’s Twitter rant-bashing.
Ezrin’s crime- was a scathing analysis of Yeezy’s impact to music culture, which was published on Tuesday.
In the post which appeared on ‘The Lefsetz Letter’, Ezrin said West suffered from delusion of grandeur while questioning his claim to being a legend.
Ezrin had written: “Unlike other creators in his genre like Jay-Z, Tupac, Biggie or even M.C. Hammer for that matter, it’s unlikely that we’ll be quoting too many of Kanye’s songs 20 years from now. He didn’t open up new avenues of public discourse like NWA, or introduce the world to a new art form like Grandmaster Flash, or even meaningfully and memorably address social issues through his music like Marshall [Eminem], Macklemore and Kendrick.”
Kanye West, not one to take a punch and walk away, took to Twitter in the early hours of Wednesday morning, to attack Erin, his children and then promise them pairs of ‘free Yeezys’.
