A family of a three-year-old child are completely distraught after they watched their baby abducted from their home during a raid by gunmen on Monday.

The kidnappers have requested for N10 million ransom.

It was discovered that the child’s father, Lucky Osanebi,  from Ashaka, Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Delta State is the older brother to House of Assembly member, representing Ndokwa East in Delta State, Friday Osanebi.

The lawmaker reportedly confirmed: “The father of the child is my elder brother.”

According to Vanguard reports:

“Three gun-totting kidnap gang laid siege to the home of Mr Osanebi on Monday and held his family hostage at about 10.00 pm. They robbed family members of cash, phones and other valuable property, before abducting their son,” a source said.

“The gang established contact with the family on Tuesday morning demanding N10 million, this is ridiculous, the child is only three years, four months old.”

Mother of the child, who said she was still dazed by the incident told Vanguard on phone it was true her child was kidnapped.

It was gathered the kidnappers, who went away with the  elder Osanebi ‘s phone  had told the family to contact their lawmaker brother to raise the ransom if they have any problem with the sum.
