How kidnappers took two Reverend Sisters

Kidnappers who think nothing of ‘the fear of the Lord’ Kidnapped two Reverend Sisters, along with their driver.

The kidnappers staged the attack after learning of a meet scheduled for the sisters in Ogun state and which they would journey to, from their place of work in Kaduna, on Friday.

The plan? To make some money off demanding for N20m in ransom.

“The two sisters were in their bus and were going for a special meeting of the group in Ijebu Itele. They were travelling when their vehicle broke down on the road,” an eye witness told the police.

“As they were trying to fix the problem, the kidnappers swooped on them and took the three of them away. The church has contacted their family members.

“We have been told that the kidnappers demanded N20m before they will release them. But the church has started negotiating with them and hopefully, they will be released.”

The Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, Femi Joseph, confirmed the incident, “The sisters were travelling to Ijebu Itele. When they got to Kajola, their vehicle broke down.

“The hoodlums, who saw it as an opportunity, swopped on them and took them away, along with their driver. But we will soon rescue them.”
