Haruna Idoko of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared the winner of Saturday re-run election for Idah constituency into the Kogi House of Assembly.
According to Prof. Rotimi Ajayi, the Returning Officer of the area, who declared the results late Saturday, Idoko polled 8,346 votes.
He defeated James Ukwubile of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who polled 8,274 votes.
The results of the election for Ofu constituency in the state assembly as well as that of the Kogi East Senatorial poll are still being waited for.
