The new Lagos State Football Association(LSFA) is making major moves at reconstructing the football experience in the city with the presentation of the LSFA blueprint for football in the state. According to a press statement signed by Seyi Akinwumi, Chairman Lagos State Football Association, the FA is working with www.soccerex.com to bring the Global Football Convention to West Africa and has signed a major deal with Multichoice cable channel, Super Sport.

Other innovations include the launching of the new website, http://www.ekofootball.com; the LSFA Learning, a capacity building and training programme for Eko Football; the new brand of football in the state, the LSFA Football Academy set to discover new talents,;the brand new Lagos Super League to commence in 2012, and other the Special Programmes unit.
