According to him, the returnees arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Tuesday around 3.45pm.

Farinloye said 174 of the returnees were males while 67 were females, adding that they have been dispatched to their various locations.

“The International Organisation for Migration facilitated the repatriation of 241 Nigerian returnees from Libya today (Tuesday).

“The breakdown indicates that 67 were females (six under 18 years and four under four years) and 174 males (three under 18 years and one under four years).

“Three of the sick returnees, two females and one male, are currently receiving medical treatments at LASUTH.

“The returnees are some of the stranded Nigerians seeking greener pastures in foreign land through Libya,” he said.
