Lil Kesh to start his record label

On Sunday, we informed you about the rumours of a Lil Kesh departure from YBNL.

A report by the Netng on Monday, can be seen as confirmation that Lil Kesh is indeed leaving to start his record label.

The website reports that this move has not caused any friction between the rapper and his label CEO, Olamide as it was a pre-planned move.

The report states that: “Olamid has been training them all to stand on their own and Kesh was the first to blow that’s why he’s the first to move on.”

This relates with Olamide’s Twitter rant in June 2015 where he spoke about how he signed his acts on a 2-year contract to groom them to be fully independent.

Drake ‘s new single One Dance featuring Wizkid and Kyla has made a massive jump from number 13 to 3 on the Billboard 100 chart.

Its download numbers have however, dropped – taking it from its number one spot last week down to 7 on the Digital Songs chart but it has gone up from 18th place to 3rd on the Streaming Songs chart.

In the UK, Drake stays winning despite the impact Prince‘s death has had on the charts.

According to The Official UK Chart, One Dance is set to remain number 1 for the third consecutive week.

Beyhive goes after Rita Ora

After smoking out fashion designer, Rachel Roy, the Beyhive have gone after another alleged mistress of Jay Z -British singer, Rita Ora.

This is due to a Snapchat picture Rita Ora took few days before the release of Beyonce’s Lemonade where she was spotted with a necklace that had a letter ‘J’ pendant and a bra with 2 lemon fruit logos.

This picture has gotten Beyonce’s fans enraged as they have dropped insulting comments on her Instagram page.
