(1:15pm) Nothing happening here at the moment, no candidate has arrived. But Atiku supporters are the loudest outside the venue.
The committee chairman, former Ekiti state governor, Kayode Fayemi is inspecting the venue for the primaries.
(3:05 pm) Accreditation has started now started at the Teslim Balogun stadium, venue of the APC presidential primaries.
(4:30pm) Kwankwaso’s people are denying the earlier reports that he’s stepped down. Speaking with a few journalists, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the deputy governor of the state said that the governor had not yielded to anyone.
(5:42 pm) A light-hearted part of the evening as the ushers prepare to make their way towards the polling booths.
(5:53 pm) Having completed their accreditation, some delegates are beginning to come into the main bowl of the Teslim Balogun Stadium.
(6:05 pm) This morning, Lai said that accreditation before 4pm, and that delegates will begin voting by that time. That was a lie obviously, pun intended.
(6:22 pm) The convention is about the start as the delegates are asked to take their seats.
(7:15 pm) Entertainment begins. Comedian, Seyi Law is on to lighten the mood
(11:53 pm) The stadium is now filled to capacity and anticipation is building. We expect that the convention proper will start any time now.

any of the contestants are good. we pray to Allah swt to choose the best to rule Nigeria! However we want a just person who doesn’t buy the delegates or is imposed on the delegates; what majority of the downtrodden want! not the elites or the middle class; we want a president who is not rich not money minded a person whose character of fairness is known to sundry; a courageous leader not clueless!
