The 39-year-old wore a black dress with a thigh-high slit to the Toy ‘R’ Us Children’s Fund Gala on Thursday in New York, but she exposed half her bottom as she took a tumble onstage along with comedian Martin Short.

The model tweeted the snap of herself crouching mid-tumble with her slit reaching all the way up to her lower back, as her thigh and half her derriere is exposed.

She gave no explanation for what happened, merely writing ‘(no comment)’ as a caption.

Heidi admirably still manages to clutch her microphone as she fell, her curly blonde hair obscuring her face as she braces herself for the fall.

Short, 63, didn’t fare so well as he is seen lying flat on his back, a bewildered expression on his face as he registers what just happened.

It’s unclear what caused the fall, but it was surely rather embarrassing for the usually composed and graceful Heidi.

According to a report, the Toys ‘R’ Us Children’s Fund Gala – one of the largest single-night fundraisers in New York – helped raise more than $4.5 million to support charitable organizations that keep children safe and help them in times of need.

Earlier this month, Heidi launched a new line for Babys ‘R’ Us called Truly Scrumptious.

‘I’ve designed everything from the cutest clothes, cosiest bedding and whimsical room decor, and so much more,’ says the star in a video on the Toys ‘R’ Us website.
