Man City to contest Aguero’s violent conduct charge

Premier League side, Manchester City has said it would contest the charge of violent conduct against striker Sergio Aguero by the English FA, British media reports on Thursday.

The association had claimed that Aguero committed a foul on West Ham defender Winston Reid which the referee didn’t see but was picked up by the camera on Sunday’s match.

Aguero faces a three-match suspension if found guilty.

Guardiola has reacted saying he was prepared to cope if Aguero was banned.

“I didn’t see so I cannot comment,” Guardiola said of the clash.

“Hopefully nothing happens. If it happens, we accept and adapt and we will try our best.”
