MASSOB declares fast for Nnamdi Kanu

The Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has called on all Igbos to fast and pray for the release of leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, and others being detained by the Federal Government.

According to The Punch, the leader of the group, Uchenna Madu, made the call in a statement on Monday.

Madu said all MASSOB members in Imo State would converge on the group’s headquarters in Okwe, Onuimo Local Government Area of the state for the prayer session.

Kanu is being tried for treason by the Federal Government and will appear in court for resumed hearing of his trial on December 1.
