So yeah, our resident haters at Uncensored might have found Davido’s Son Of Mercy EP underwhelming/uninteresting/uninspired/whatever. Don’t mind them. But their bad belle doesn’t matter. Because, guess who likes it?

Imagine it, though? A Davido song on Empire? Sure, the show has dipped in quality (in a fashion even more dramatic than its overwrought storylines,) from its already questionable beginnings. And yes, it’s bleeding ratings like no man’s business. But it still remains the most watched American network drama among the 18-49 demographic.
We know, Wizkid already left Davido in the dust, (seriously, a #1 song on billboard is something majority of artists go their entire careers without being able to boast of,) but who knows? Davido might just pull this international break thing off yet. We’re rooting for the guy.
