Guys, things are happening.
That’s how we found out the other day that a show called “Mr. & Mrs. Kogberegbe” won in the Best Yoruba Sitcom category at the 2016 Oodua Image Awards.
So. Many. Questions.
Oodua Image Awards? There are so many Nigerian awards shows so we aren’t too shocked. But how did we not know about this sitcom till now?
It’s been in existence for at least two years. There are even entire episodes on YouTube.
And wait first. Best Yoruba Sitcom. As in, an entire category. As in, there are several Yoruba sitcoms out there now that people aren’t talking about?
A lot is happening, and we all need to be paying closer attention.
