Two men buried alive… ‘for stealing N130,000’

Jungle Justice, is no justice

On March 12, 2016, Igbekele Orisabinole and Ogbaro Erinbo were buried alive at Igbokoda, in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, for allegedly stealing N130,000.

The duo were buried by two siblings, Omoniyi Alaleran and Oluwaseun Enikuomehin, who accused the pair of stealing the said money from their mother.

The siblings, who are now in custody at the Special Investigative Bureau at the police headquarters in Akure, had tortured the deceased severally, asking them to confess and produce the money.

Despite their pleas of being innocent, the siblings were said to have dug out a hole and pushed the deceased inside, before covering them up to their necks.

Speaking on the case, the Police spokesman Femi Joseph: “We have almost concluded investigation on the matter. The suspects will be charged to court very soon.”
