PDP Senators’ decision to walk out is democracy in action – APC

The All Progressives Congress has described the ratification of Minister-Designate, Rotimi Amaechi, as a clear indication that the ruling party is finally united.

The party stated that the confirmation of the former Rivers Governor, has shown that the lawmakers are willing to be in synergy with the party.

National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, released a statement on Thursday, where he stressed that the decision of the Peoples Democratic Party Senators to walk out, is also democracy at play.

“The cohesion and unity exhibited by the APC Senators on Thursday have shown that our legislators are ready to work with the executive and the party to ensure that the the agenda of the party is implemented for the benefit of all Nigerians.”

”We commend all our members and leaders in the Senate and indeed the leadership of the APC for this show of unity.”

”It is part of democracy that while the minority can have their say, the majority will have their way. Therefore, the decision of the PDP Senators to walk out is nothing but democracy in action.”

“With the stage now set for the federal cabinet to be in place, we implore all Nigerians, irrespective of their party affiliation, to support President Muhammadu Buhari in his onerous task of making Nigeria great again.”
