Boni Haruna, the Minister of Youth Development, broke down into tears when he led a delegation of the federal government to visit victims of the insurgency in Adamawa state.
The Minister, who was a former governor of the state, visited Mubi, Hong, Maiha, Ganye and Michika LGA areas of the state, where he visited victims who reunited with their families, following the liberation of their towns from the insurgents.
Haruna wept profusely but went on to assure the victims that the federal government would assist them in settling down back into their homes.
