Mother refuses to bail out teen arrested over Facebook school shooting hoax

16 year old North Carolina teen is in jail facing felony charges for posting a threatening message on another student’s Facebook page, andmom won't bail out facebook the teen is not getting out of jail any time soon according to her.

She’ran Pearson of Page High School in Greensboro, North Carolina is accused of gaining unauthorized access to a student’s social media account and posting a threatening message.

“Dear everyone, if you see this and go to page high-school. You better be ware tomorrow i am going to come in with a Gun and set traps to kill almost everyone in the school then im going to kill myself” read the posted message.

Students who’d read the message alerted police, who then traced the message back to Pearson.

Pearson now faces a felony charge and six misdemeanors. The charges filed against her include making a false report concerning mass violence on educational property, cyber-stalking/bullying a minor, cyber stalking threatening staff, computer trespassing, and communicating threats.

“We pursue all threats as credible until they’re deemed incredible,” said Greensboro Police Sgt. MJ Harris. “There is no fake posting because we can — as we did this weekend within a very short time frame — locate where that posting came from.”

Phone calls were made to worried parents assuring them that it was safe for their kids to return to school.

The accused teen’s mother was in the courtroom during the hearing and asked the judge to keep her daughter in jail.

”She won’t listen to me. She won’t respect me. I can’t help her,” Shondell Pearson told Judge Fox.

Pearson is being held on $7,000 bond.
