Buhari reportedly ordered arrest of his brother-in-law

President Muhammadu Buhari reportedly ordered security agents to arrest his brother-in-law, Musa Yola, last Monday, for extorting money from an unidentified businessman.

A close confidante of the President supposedly disclosed to Sahara Reporters that Yola, who is the immediate younger brother of Buhari’s wife, received N300 million from a businessman whom he promised to help secure an oil block from the Buhari administration.

The source was said to have revealed that Buhari personally ordered last that Yola be produced before him in handcuffs in the company of the businessman he duped.

The President was said to have reprimanded the businessman for being foolish enough to fall for the scam, knowingly fully well that he was incorruptible.

Buhari, we hear, ordered agents of the State Security Services (SSS) attached to Aso Rock Villa to thoroughly investigate the scam and to also ensure that the businessman recovered his money from his brother-in-law.

An SSS source was quoted to have said: “Alhaji Yola has refunded the money to the affected businessman. Alhaji Yola has been released on bail.”

  1. To me, the president is just trying to score cheap political mark. It will be better to bring him to book and convince Nigerians that he actually wants to fight corruption.
