A multiple accident involving a diesel-laden tanker and four other vehicles on Lagos-Ibadan expressway has led to the death of three people who were burnt beyond recognition on Wednesday.
According to a statement by the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, the accident occurred at about 3:08am.
It was learnt that the truck carrying diesel colliding with another vehicle conveying brewery products before catching fire.
The statement said, “The driver was said to have abruptly applied brake at the Kara Bridge outward Lagos resulting to multiple accident and fire outbreak with colossal loss.”
The accident set aflame the tanker, two containerised trucks, two trailers, and one Toyota Corolla car.
