Susan Stillwaggon is facing charges after she told friends, family, and even her own son that he was sick with colon cancer.

A New Jersey mom faked her young son’s cancer to trick family and friends out of hundreds of dollars, police said.

Susan Morris Stillwaggon was so convincing in her pleas for cash to treat the boy’s condition that she even managed to persuade him that he was seriously sick, it’s claimed.

Cops allege she persuaded fellow moms of his Camden County elementary school soccer team to hold cupcake sales and bingo nights to collect money.

The 35-year-old Pennsauken mom of four also posted regular Facebook  updates on his supposed condition.

But she was busted when cops were tipped off anonymously by suspicious school staff, reports CBS Philly.

“They were selling bracelets, necklaces, they had a bingo night that they raised money. It’s a lie,” said Pennsauken Police Lt. Michael Probasco.

Probasco added that Stillwaggon’s husband had no idea about what was happening — and that they’re still not sure how much cash she pocketed before being caught.

Neighbor Tamara Disalvo said she’d been left stunned by the news.

“She told me he had colon cancer. It’s pretty terrible. He must be really confused,” said Disalvo.

Stillwaggon was arrested on Thursday and charged with third-degree theft by deception, third-degree forgery and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

She also faces a charge of second degree using a juvenile to commit a criminal offense.
