#OndoDecides: My driver earns N75,000 monthly, Ondo workers can’t be earning N18,000 – Jimoh Ibrahim

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the November 26 governorship election in Ondo, Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim says he would increase the minimum wage of workers in the state if elected.

Ibrahim who said this on Monday during the Ondo governorship debate stated it was unfair for workers in the state to earn N18,000 when his driver earns N75,000 monthly.

He added that he would also increase the pension gotten by retired civil servants to be at par with current realities.

He decried the practice where pensioners still earn the amount they were paid 30 years ago is unacceptable.
